Review
This is a wonderful antique Persian Mahadjeran Sarouk with a navy field decorated with a floral motif in light blues, tans and golds. It is 2'6'' X 5'1'' . Mahadjeran, also spelled Mahajiran or Mohajeran is a name given to a select few Sarouk carpets.
This is an antique handmade rug from the late 19th century. The piece was crafted from lamb's wool on a cotton foundation and was vegetable dyed. It has a dense, soft pile, and excellent quality, to ensure that you will enjoy it for years to come.
