This double-sided rug is designed to be used both ways being one side has a light shade of color, rather the other side has brighter colors and can be used to preference. This beautiful rug is made by individual short strands of different color being knotted onto the warps and held together by pressing the wefts tightly. The design is made by interweaving the variously colored wefts and warps. Kilims are known to be one of a kind rug due to its durability and versatility.

If you are considering a hand made Persian rug of exceptional quality I highly recommend Pasargad. We purchased a 10 x 13 Kerman for our living room and we absolutely love it. Cyrus and his team delivered excellent customer service with an impressive level of expertise in rug making techniques and the history of these classic carpets. Initially we weren't sure what we wanted beyond colors. The Pasargad team very patiently laid out a (large) number of rugs so we could see and compare. The on-site inventory at Pasargad is extraordinary with rugs of all sizes, colors, shapes, and origins. Oh, and convenience: Cyrus encouraged us to 'try it' in our living room for a day and a night. He and his assistant Pablo brought the rug to our home and moved/replaced our furniture to install it. They then came back and installed the under pad after we decided to keep the rug. Overall a great buying experience--product quality, customer service and a reasonable price.
