Palmettes, flowers, and sinuous vines wend their way in profusion across the rich red field of this luscious antique Sarouk. The design is carefully controlled in its layout and symmetry despite its dynamic freedom and exuberance. The field elements reappear in the main border as a continuous vinescroll, but set against a blue ground in framing contrast to the field. The meticulous drawing and uniform design texture create a harmonious decorative effect despite the richness of the color and complexity of the ornament.

We had an amazing experience with Cyrus, Pablo, and David— they went above and beyond and were so patient with helping us find the perfect rugs for our small spaces. They really know everything about every rug (and there are so many!) and clearly are passionate about what they do. We got a beautiful rug for our tiny dining area and a stair runner as well.
