Known for producing large rugs that often have a European influence the rugs from Dorokhsh were very popular in France during the late 19th century. This rug features floral motifs in the central field enclosed by a border, itself enclosed by numerous smaller guard borders. This helps create a rug with all the correct proportions that will look magnificent in so many different room settings.
