The Isfahan rugs are made with exceptionally good quality of wool & silk. They use traditional motifs inspired by architectural tiles that once decorated the historical buildings from which these rugs originated in. When it comes to high class designs the composition, patterns, and materials of Isfahan meets those expectations. The motifs usually consist of medallions with palmetts and also figural motifs. Isfahan rugs have an extremely high knot density and are woven with silk and golden threads, which give them their luxurious look.
