Antique Persian Serapi Rug, Circa Date: Late 19th Century, Size: 9’10″X 11’11” – At the center of the antique rug, a navy medallion with an ivory core hovers amidst light blue corner-pieces, while stylized branches of vines and palmettes fill the intervening red field. A serrated leaf and rosette vine-scroll border is framed by multiple minor borders with simpler boteh vine-scrolls.
