Rust Fine Persian Gashqai Hand woven vintage Kilim 5'9'' X 9'9''

Description

Handwoven in wool originating from Persia between 1950-1960, this vintage midcentury Persian Kilim rug enjoys both an appealing, versatile large size as well as a skillful play of colorway and pattern the most celebrated items of this Classic rug family enjoy. The variations of richness in the field colorway lend a subtle sense of movement to the already soothing repetition, alternating variations of burgundy red, blue, green, and muted brown within the more homogenous Rust,Navy beige-brown border for a look both chic and easygoing; further enjoying pristine condition.

GEORGE Constantinople

I was walking by Pasargad this week when I was stopped in my tracks by a beautiful 13' x 9' rug hanging in the window. Since I have worked with Pasargad before and know the excellent quality of their rugs and the exceptionally knowledgable and kind staff, I went right in, spoke to Cyrus, and again he advised me extremely well! I purchased the rug right away. Three days later, after the special rug pad had arrived from NYC, Muhammad and Pablo came to my apartment to deliver the rug and set it in place. They were simply excellent!!! They removed some furniture from my living room with great care before laying out the pad and rug. They were very patient and precise in their work and definitely knew what they were doing. The rug is now the "star" of my living room and only Pasargad with its "five stars" can top that!!! I am very grateful to Pasargad and recommend it very highly!!!
