Description

This elegant Hand made Aubusson Beige rug is a resplendent example of the lush architectural style and romantic botanical motifs that captivated European aristocracy for centuries. The softly colored field has a luxurious aura heightened by the delicate colour palette and fragile floral rug motifs. Precise shading of this flatweave rug adds a painterly realism to the dimensional leaf scrolls, and romantic cabbage rose bouquets. The masterful design of these luxury rugs incorporates broad open spaces that give the delicate composition an ethereal levity. Multiple sets of architectural borders and gilded acanthus leaf frames support the sophisticated floral allover on these Indian rug. Subtle asymmetric accents and decorative objects, including a paper chorale booklet and shaded straight horns, emphasize the romantic Rococo style of these splendid Aubusson natural rugs. These large rugs look beautiful and are ideal for large living room rugs and bedroom rugs.

Aubusson is a town on the Creuse River in central France. It has been famed for its rugs as well as Tapestries since the 15th century. Aubusson carpets made in tapestry technique are among the most elegant and luxurious antique floor coverings. The true date when the production of flat-woven tapestry Aubusson carpets in France began is not known

If you're interested in real persian rugs, high quality and hand made/craft, this place is one of the best within DC/VA/MD area. Their prices are fair, considering the fact that not every store has the real/genuine persian rugs, so you should consider higher values. They have other rugs with different origins, but if you compare side by side, the persian crafts with others, you will see the difference clearly. There are plenty of nice and pretty rugs, different sizes and styles, variety of colors, and different materials. The best are the silks rugs, and then the combination of silk/wool. Of course your budget is very important, bear in mind that for a medium quality 5'×3' size silk/wool rug, the minimum price tag is 800$. The store manager and associates are professional and polite, and calmly help you to find a nice rug within your budget limitation. I went there during a sale event, the deal items were good.
