Persian Kashan Rug, Country of Origin: Persia, Circa Date: Early 20th Century– This exquisite Kashan rug is typical of the fine rugs for which Kashan became famous in the 19th century. The color palette of Red and Navy Blue gives the exquisite details depth, while the small diamond medallion accentuates the elegant flourishes in the field. The rich cerulean in the corners brings out elements elsewhere in the rug, particularly in the fine details around the border. Though the rug is relatively small in its dimensions, it is impactful, and thus works well even in larger areas.

Cyrus and the rest of the team are fabulous. From the art history and crafts lesson we got in store as he walked us through the rugs in the showroom to his willingness to bring multiple rugs to my home to try them out to make sure the one I chose was just right, it was a terrific experience all around. I’m so happy with my new, soft Gabbeh rug
